Morning Camps, 9:00 - 12:00

Krazy Krafts   Grades 1-5
Want to have a lot of FUN and make some beautiful objects?  Join the group and learn to make not-just-your-ordinary baubles and beads for wearing or decorating your room.  This camp is for those with imagination and the desire to create jewelry and crafts.

Fun in the Sun Sports   Grades 1-5  
An action-packed, fun-filled week for kids who love to be active! Campers receive personal instruction as they focus on learning positions, rules, strategy, sportsmanship, and teamwork while they participate in soccer, hockey, tennis, basketball, kickball, spy-spy general, jailbreak, and capture the flag.  We will maximize fun in a learning environment!

Fiesta Time!!   Grades 1-3
A fun-filled week south of the border for kids who want to have a good time, while picking up and practicing Spanish language skills along the way.  Group fun with friends, Latin-American style, with a scavenger hunt, play and puppet shows, a “dining-out” experience, music and dance.  We’ll end the week with a genuine fiesta and piñata!  We’ll emphasize fun, while learning the natural way.

Golden Guitars   Grades 1-4 (Beginners)
Would you like to play guitar in a band?  Bring your guitar and be part of the big show!  We will learn a few songs, play guitar games, and have fun making music.  Then on the last day of camp, we will put on a live performance featuring everything we have learned.

Jewelry Making    Grades   1-4
Need a necklace or bracelet to match your favorite shirt, or that special dress? Come and make it!  You can make your own jewelry to perfectly match with the colors and styles of your favorite outfit!  So check out your closet and select a top or dress that you would like to use as your inspiration piece.  Bring in a picture of your favorite outfit, or just bring the outift to class with you so we can match it.  Supplies will be available, but feel free to bring your own if you’d like.  Look out! Making your own jewelry is so much fun that once you start you won’t want to stop!

Trinity’s Mystical, Magical School Bus    Grades 1-5
Hop on board and catch the magical school bus into the world of reading, science, and reasoning!  Skills in all of these areas will be used as students delve into various books in this series.  This class is the ultimate in making learning fun! Come take a tour with me because every day is a good day for magic!

Engineering, Catapults, Bridges and much more…  Grades 3-6
Do you enjoy building things?  If so, come join in we will be building bridges, towers, catapults, a balloon powered car and much more. Learn a little engineering, building techniques, cooperation and teamwork, and have fun doing it.

Afternoon Camps, 1:00 - 4:00

Chez Gourmet   Grades 1-3
If you are interested in learning some new, fun, and healthy recipes, this is your chance!  Our hands-on class will mix, mold, and make exciting desserts, festive snacks and refreshing summertime drinks.  We will learn about cooking terms and measurements and make a cook book.  Each day our gourmet chefs will prepare something delicious for everyone to enjoy.  Grab a friend and come cook with us!

Show Camp!  Grades 1-5    
What a way to spend a week!  In this action-packed and fun-filled program, kids become the actors, directors, and producers of their very own mystery show!  We start with excited and motivated kids, add grand costumes, hilarious props and a lot of imagination...to create a spectacular, one-of-a-kind mystery show! Finally, we invite friends and family to the world debut event!

Crafty Science Grades 2-4
Would you enjoy making bracelets with uv beads? Creating a mobile of the solar system? Or even using chemistry to make designs on paper? We will do these projects and more when we combine science and crafts at this camp!

Stop Motion Animation Grades 2-6
Work in groups to make your own stop motion animation movie.  This  fun, low tech manner of movie -making is made popular by films like Wallace and Grommet, Fantastic Mr. Fox, and Gumby.  Kids will develop their own plot, make backdrops, scenery, and characters to photograph.  Small movements are made and then multiple pictures are put together ( much like a flip-book) for the final movie.  Each child gets to take home a copy of their movie and parents are invited for a viewing premier the last day of class.

Kerin Martinez of Tarrytown Dance will show students how to move to the beat! Hip Hop dance camp incorporates hip hop dance choreography with break dance tricks, movement games, balance activities and flexibility training all set to upbeat, age-appropriate, pop and hip hop music. During the week, students will also work on creating some props & costumes for a hip hop dance showcase!

Science Camp!  Grades 1-5
If you like to explore, invent, build, create and investigate, join us for a fun-filled week of discovery. We will dive into a different area of scientific study each day of the week: geology, chemistry, physics, biology and astronomy.

Pretty Paper   Grades 1-3
Are you crafty?  Join this class to make several craft projects from paper. We will make our own nature paper with flowers, create origami, design stationery and cards, and construct with papier mâché. You can keep your creations for yourself to enjoy or use them for gifts throughout the year.

3-D Art   Grades 2-5
Do you love making things with your hands? We will be making several sculptures with many different materials.  Kids will focus on the works of Alexander Calder, with his odds and ends circus, Brancusi and plaster carvings, and a hand built clay piece.  Class will end with a gallery viewing of all our beautiful work!
